Very strong vertical shear has ripped Danielle apart, and is now struggling to maintain Tropical Storm intensity. The low-level center is completely exposed, and what convection there is is being whipped off to the north. As of 21Z, TS Danielle was located at 29.3N 38.4W and tracking NNE at 9kts. Intensity is 45kts and 1005mb. Further rapid weakening is imminent, so I suspect we will see the end of this one tomorrow. Elsewhere, there are a couple of tropical waves between Africa and the Lesser Antilles, at about 30W and 50W. Both show minimal signs of organization, but will still be monitored.
